Pick Platforms Wisely
When a company decides to join social media and get on board with the internet marketing, sometimes the C level feels they need to have a presence on all the platforms. While it can be fun and exciting when you start a new project, don’t get too overzealous! Just like when buying a new home, you have to be patient and see which fits you best.
When deciding where to establish a presence online consider these 3 questions:
- Where are your customers/clients? Consider age, hobbies, and work schedule.
- What will be the most efficient method for communication? Never forget you are trying to solve a problem, not make life harder for your target audience.
- What can you realistically handle and manage? You don’t want to over extend yourself and not be able to maintain your presence.
